The apartment in Dnepropetrovsk on NOTT Design Studio
Architects NOTT Design Studio presented a new project in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. The apartment is 120 square meters in an elegant minimalist and laconic style . It is represented by a spacious living room, functional and practical kitchen, an office, a bedroom, two bathrooms and a laundry room. The space was originally a free planning and minor restrictions in the form of two concrete columns were divided into two functional areas are obvious. These zones are separated by a small vestibule, which is securely hidden from prying eyes by a wooden screen, performing the function of the bookshelves, but does not prevent the penetration of natural light from the living room.
The basis of the composition, which is built around the entire interior is stretched horizontally parallelepiped trimmed rack of American walnut wood. It conceals two bathrooms, whose walls are partially covered the glass, which gives additional ease of construction and does not prevent the penetration of natural light into the room. Particular attention in the design of interior decoration architects are paid . We see the internal connections and conflicts, seemingly incongruous materials such as wood, marble, copper and concrete.
